Y is for two great things: 1) Adrienne can walk now and 2) Ashton says yeess.
Adrienne started walking about a month ago and I love how cute she is wobbling around picking up things and trying to keep up with her big sister. It cracks me up that babies are so little when they start walking, she looks like a little doll (dan says she walks like frankenstein). The other thing that is so cute is Adrienne says about eight words now: thank you (said in the cutest baby singsong voice), mama, dada, ducky(how do you spell that anyway? duckie?), hi, doggy(it truly sounds different enough from the other D sounds that I accept them all as individual words, and she says them in context), and that. I love that she is starting to develop so quick.
Another thing I am excited about is Ashton says yes now instead of ya. It is cute because she elongates the es part and she looks so cute when she says it. I stopped counting Ashtons words about six months ago, because I really feel she is developing rapidly from the time she was two. So I am so grateful that she is jumping from one level to another. (For those of you who don't know, Ash has been in speech therapy for over a year and has graduated out of the program, so we are trying to get her into another preschool that is language-based to help with her Articulation.)

On an unrelated note, I just developed some cute pictures of Adrienne playing catch in our backyard during one of our impromtu smores/hotdog roast.

I love it, there is no preparation involved and very very little clean up, and lots of people. Just the kind of party a slacker like me loves. I'll have to take more pics next time. So if anyone is ever in the neighborhood, just stop on by and we'll light up the fire and throw some shrimp on the barbie..
