You are my old friend, an old diary I used to confide in. A lot has happened and its time to fill you in.
August 2009- Dan and I put our house on the market. Did a lot of de-junking, selling, cleaning, streamlining, and crying. I was having a HARD time thinking of moving away from our incredible neighbors, fantastic safe little street, elementary school where we know half the incredible staff, about 5 houses down from a little park, and our church. It was awesome! But I knew deep down in a little teeny tiny hidden compartment in my heart that moving so that our family could be together more often, would be the best thing for us.
October 30 2009- 89 days after putting our house on the market, I decided to go to Arizona to meet up with Dan on a business trip and visit my family. Left my trunk open and got my camera and Dan's laptop stolen. Ahhh, that was so sad.
October 31 2009- 90 days after putting our house on the market, our house had a cash offer on it, right in the price range we wanted to get out of it. We had a week to get home, install new windows, pack up, clean, and move to: nowhere.
Haha! Everyone had been telling us doomsday stories about not being able to sell their house, having to drop the price tens of thousands of dollars, and it taking over a year to sell. We hadn't planned on moving until Spring of 2010. So the joke was on us.
Dan asked his sister if we could move in with them in Wellsville. So we moved our stuff over there and stayed until March.
This whole time Dan and I had been considering moving to the East side of the country so that when he traveled for work his trips wouldn't have to be so long and he might even be able to have some 1-2 DAY trips, rather than 1-2 WEEK trips. It was our goal, but not necessarily a plan yet.
