Swimming outside in the dead of winter

After Christmas is over, I am so over snow. Getting up every morning to drive Ash 20 minutes in this Winter Wonderland makes me dream of palm trees, sweltering heat, and blue skies. And lets be honest, its not a good idea to day dream while you are driving in 2 feet of snow. That could only end badly.

So, instead of day dreaming, I decided to actually do something, like, go to Arizona, where its 80 degrees, and sunny, and you can go swimming OUTSIDE, in January! (FTR, for the record, there will be no evidence of this swimming outing because my skin is as white at the snow above and that could only end badly.)

One week away would do the trick, or so I thought. One week, four weeks, there's not much difference...right?
Hoover Dam
National Forest

There was a huge monsoon while we were there! It filled up all of the drainage canals around town. Sure made for some fun pictures.
Of course there was shopping.
Picnics
The Pheonix Zoo

The Beautiful Adriana and my nephew
Fantastic sunsets every night
Movies
More shopping
Disney store

This adorable park at an outdoor mall
More beautiful sunsets
Monkeys back at the zoo ;)

Four weeks in Arizona was healing and warming to my soul. I loved it!

Love,
