Spiders are revered this time of year

Adrienne and Ashton have an obsession with spiders. Adrienne especially. About three months ago they found a large spider in Adrienne's room and decided to take matters into their own hands. Ashton took Adrienne's flip flop and smashed that spider! They came running upstairs and very animatedly told me about all of their glory of getting rid of that yucky spider.
Ever since then Adrienne has said to Dan or I or anyone else who will listen, "There's a spider in my room!" Every. Single. Day.
Dan has taken the liberty to elaborate the story and tell her to tell it to, "Go outside! Go away spider!" Which she shouts with conviction after she tells us that, "there's a spider in MY room". I love it.
Now, Dan also found this video on youtube.com about spiders which Adrienne now asks to watch everyday day and has watched it about 17 times today.
