The darndest things

So I know I haven't posted for a long time, I'm so behind I don't even want to start. Although, Ashton said some funny things and cute things to me the other day I don't want to forget so I'm going to write them here.

I was crying yesterday and Ashton came and put her arm around me, gave me a kiss on the head and said, "it'll be okay mommy, it's okay." She is so sweet and empathetic. I love her!

A little later I was still crying and Ashton looked at my face and said, "mom, why your face change colors?" It made me laugh because she thought it was so funny that my face was all red from crying. Haha

Then we were sitting in a parking lot waiting to meet someone and a man dressed in army fatigues walked out of the ARMY office. Ashton has been learning about people in uniforms this year in preschool, you know, police officer, fireman, doctor, etc. Apparently she doesn't know the difference between all the uniforms. So when she saw the army guy she says, "mom whats that guy? Is that guy a priest?" I started cracking up and the army guy hears what she says and started laughing too. Unfortunately, I was giggling so much I couldn't properly correct her until he was out of earshot. I didn't even know she knew the word priest, none the less that it is a man who wears a uniform. lol.
